Stupid idea: Chinese man almost died after he packaged and mailed himself to girlfriend

A Chinese man, Hu Seng, almost died in a mail he sent to his girlfriend.

The Chinese man mailed himself in a packaged box to his girlfriend as a surprise birthday gift. He nearly died as a result of suffocation when the mail got lost in the post for three hours. When the box finally arrived at his girlfriend's office, girlfriend Li Wang was shocked to discover Seng passed out and bystanders had to call paramedics to revive him.

“I didn’t realize it would take so long,” said Seng. “I tried to make a hole in the cardboard but it was too thick and I didn’t want to spoil the surprise by shouting.”

That's a stupid way of surprising someone. Wouldn't you agree?
