It was a day of fun and amusement
for children and parents at RCCG, Shepherd’s House yesterday, 2nd
September, 2012. Duggie Dug Dugs concert
came to the Shepherd’s House, White City as part of their UK tour and the crew entertained everyone
present to different fun activities such as sing-along songs, break dancing,
sign language, tricks, funky music and puppets shows. The show which started at
about 2.30pm kicked off with prayers and songs by the Duggie Dug dug crew.

The kids were taught the Bible through illustrations on the big screen and demonstrations by the anchor of the show. One of the teachings was about the reasons and importance of Jesus’s death on the cross which was demonstrated with a pure white handkerchief. The white handkerchief was completely covered in stain but was later cleaned in a substance thus connoting that we have all ‘messed up’ but have been made pure through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Children were made to realise that anyone can make mistake but Jesus’s reason for coming into the world was to put right the mistakes.
The kids sang and danced and of course the parents were not left out of the fun as they were also made to participate in some sing-along songs, dances as well as sign language.
Overall it was a great family day out and a fun way of teaching the kids about God and His words. The turn was good and everyone who came was treated to some food and drinks.
But was I entertained? You bet I did! Continue to enjoy the photos below...
