Born again man honours Jesus with massive Jesus' tattoo to his back. What's your view?

Random Google images
Terry O'Neill  has a massive tattoo of Jesus on his back to show his faith as a born again Christian. It cost him £900 (roughly N225,000) to have it done. Terry also refused pain relief gel in honour of Jesus because he though it would be cheating not to go through the pain as Jesus himself went through much more pain.

I am not going to judge this man for what he's done. Obviously it means much to him but is tattoo 'Christianly'? What's your view?

Juliet Ibrahim in her post on Instagram claim she is 100% hotter than Kim Kadashian. Read the post below and tell me what you think

"The fact is and will always remain I, Juliet Ibrahim is 100 times hotter, prettier than Kim k! I have every right to say so Cus I am an African woman without any surgeries and natural beauty is what I brag of. Video: Wicked nanny tortures an innocent 4months old baby

This is just too much for a 4months old baby. I was very shaken by this video. The woman in this video, an indonesia nanny is torturing the baby for whatever reason but what does a 4months old baby know? She could easily fracture the baby's bone by tossing him around like that. Jeez!!! Such an evil. The parents of that baby must be very devastated they weren't there to save him. This is why I'd rather stay home and look after my kids until they are a bit older. With things such as this, you can never trust anyone to do a better job than you as a parent. I pray the baby is OK and hope the woman gets the punishment she deserves. Watch the video below but please be warned, it is very disturbing

Valentine's day: Love is not sex

Random Google image
Hmm... February 14 is here and that only means one thing – Valentine. Valentine’s Day as claimed and as I have always known is a day to celebrate and show love. Well, I have done a little bit of research about Valentine and found there are different stories. One of such stories suggested that Valentine's Day was created as an attempt to supersede the pagan holiday of Lupercalia although this has been contested.  Another story states that the man Valentine himself was a Roman Priest under the emperor called Claudias who persecuted the church at that particular time. The story further states that Valentine (the man) supported marriage and always encouraged soldiers to marry within the Christian church but he was caught in the year 269 AD and sentenced to a three part execution of a beating, stoning, and finally decapitation. This was because of his stand for Christian marriage which the law didn't permit at the time. There are other stories about Valentine. You can Google it if interested.

However, I’ll like to pick on the former story above and if it’s anything to go by, then Valentine means much more than buying cards and roses and having sex under the disguise of showing love. As the story states, Valentine (the man) was a Christian who fought and encouraged Christian marriage within the church and had to die as a result.

Sickle cell anaemia: What you should know

Random Google image
Sickle cell anaemia (commonly reffered to as SS) is an inherited complex blood disorder where red blood cells develop abnormally. The Red blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. The round shape and flexibility of the cells allows them to move easily around the body. But in people with sickle cell anaemia, the shape and texture of the blood cells become hard and sticky and are shaped like bananas or sickles (hence the name “sickle cell”) thereby causing the cells to die prematurely and leading to a shortage of red blood cells (low haemoglobin). This causes symptoms of anaemia, such as tiredness and shortness of breath.

Symptoms
Includes pains (often called the sickle cell crisis) which affect different parts of the body, jaundice, priapism (persistent and painful erection) if the blood become trapped in the penis, serious complications amongst many others.  Sickle cell anaemia can cause a series of painful crisis if not treated. The symptoms of pain can range from moderate to severe, and episodes can last from several hours to several weeks. Some children may only experience one or two episodes of pain a year while others can experience as many as 12 to 14 episodes. These painful crises is triggered when the odd shaped cell stick in and block red blood vessels that supply the body’s tissues thereby preventing oxygen from getting through. It also carries a risk of a stroke and infections. The three most common infections among children are pneumonia (an infection of the lungs), osteomyelitis (an infection that develops inside a bone), and meningitis (an infection of the lining of the brain).  It can also cause a series of joint problems such as hips and shoulder pains. Pregnant women might often experience an increase in painful crisis although this might not always be the case.

Should you tell your partner that you have Sickle Cell (A 'Sickler' or SS) ? Read Tara’s story

Random |Google image

Tara was 27 years old when she got married to Akeem in May 2011. Tara met Akeem through a friend while she was still in college. They both courted for slightly over a year before saying “I do”. And just in September, four months into their marriage, Tara fell ill and could not make the holiday that her husband had booked for the two of them. She was admitted into the hospital for few days and it was during this time that Akeem her husband found out about her health condition. Akeem confronted Tara when they got back home from the hospital and Tara admitted straightaway. Tara said in an interview with Views247, "My husband was very mad at me.  I tried pleading with him and explaining things but he wouldn’t listen. He was very furious”.

From that time, Akeem refused to do anything together with his wife Tara. He would not even sit close nor speak to her.  All Tara’s pleas and efforts to talk things over with Akeem fell on deaf ears.  There was a time Akeem even left the house for about a week without telling Tara where he was going and all Tara’s efforts to reach him proved abortive. When Akeem eventually returned home, he told Tara that he was leaving never return back to her. Tara thought it was all a joke but when Akeem started packing up his things and moving them to a waiting car outside the house, she realised that he meant business. Tara tried everything to stop Akeem going. She even tried speaking to Akeem’s relatives both home and abroad to see if they could help make her marriage work but to her surprise, they too like Akeem changed their attitudes towards her and even stopped her visiting them. “None of them really understood what sickle cell anaemia is. They treated me like I had leprosy, like I was a walking corpse”, Tara said tearfully.
