The land and house is estimated by estate valuers to have cost about 100million naira. K1 De Ultimate as he is popularly called has named the house Ule Omo Ojusagbola. The land very close to the stadium occupies 1,800 square metres of land and made up of 4 buildings and has a lot of high grade bullet proof Swiss trade doors imported from Switzerland.

It seems others are following fast in Tuface Idibia's footstep. Comedian Teju Babyface has propose to  fiancée Tobi Banjoko. Tobi is a model and the winner of Lagos Carnival beauty pageant in 2010. She also represented Ondo state at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria beauty pageant in 2011 and emerged  Miss Photogenic.  

Teju popped the question on Valentine's day just like Tuface at the Southern Sun Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos where Teju had already decorated with red roses.

RIP Gringory

Gringory of the New Masquerade TV show on NTA has died at the age of 70. He was confirmed dead by the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Segun Arinze.  In an interview earlier this year, Gringory whose real name is James Iroha  lamented: 

"I am almost begging for food so I need money to pay my rent, buy my medicines and maybe repair my car".

Below are some picture of some of ex Delta State governor James Ibori's properties. He own seven properties in London alone including a 6-bed house with indoor pool worth £2.2million. He also has fleet of expensive cars ranging from Range Rover of £600,000 to £120,000 Bentley to Mercedes Maybach of about £300,000 and a private jet which he bought for £12million. He's also reported to have spent £126,000 in a month on his credit cards and ran up a £15,000 bill for a two day stay at the Lanesborough Hotel in London.

Much of the money he laundered through his London office and here's something shocking you might not even know before - Ibori has actually been accused of stealing in a London DIY store before in 1991 with his wife who worked as a cashier then.

The Nigerian trans-sexual - Dapo Adaralegbe

Meet the Nigerian trans-sexual, Dapo Adaralegbe. He was born a male but has now changed his appearance to that of a female and goes by the name Stephanie Adaralegbe. Dapo who is now based in Spain claimed to be a very popular homosexual student of Obafemi Awolowo University between  1995 and 2001. He was however expelled from the university due to identity crisis.

Former Delta state governor Ibori pleads guilty in London court

Former Delta state governor Chief James Ibori has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of money laundering and conspiracy to defraud in his UK trial. The governor who initially denied all the charges was first arrested by Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) in 2007. He then fled to Dubai but was yet again rearrested by the EFCC but a British warrant led to him being detained in the Middle East nation. All his attempt to fight extradition failed and he was sent to UK to face trials.  

The British police accused him of stealing £250million over 8years. 

Chief Ibori's sentencing has been adjourned to April 16 & 17 while confiscation hearing will be in August.

New movie trailer by Nonso Diobi - Streetz

Here is the trailer of a new movie by popular actor Nonso Diobi. The movie titled Streetz (City of Gangs) is a crime movie and the first to be produced and directed by the actor. The movie also features 2shotz, Kelvin Books and Eric Anderson.

Nice effort from Nonso on this movie but would I be watching it? It's not my typical genre of film. It's something I'd probably watch after I might have finished watching all the romantic films. From the little I've seen from the trailer, the film is a highly violent film, bloody and desperate connoting street crime among gang members. Even the title says it all. I think guys would love it more though. Albeit, I think Nonso did a brilliant job with this one so thumbs up.

A 72 years old Nepal pensioner Chandra Bahadur Dangi has been crowned the world shortest man ever by Guinness World Records officials. He weighs only 12 kilometres and stands at just 54.6 centimetres (21.5inches) tall making him 5.3centimetres shorter the previous holder Junrey Balawing from  Filipino . He was also declared has the shortest human adult ever recorded.

Wonders shall never end: Man marries dog

A man in India has married a dog in order to appease the spirits of two other dogs he killed some 15years ago. The man, whose name is Selvakumar got paralysed in his legs and hands, lost his speech and hearing in one ear after stoning the dogs to death. Doctors couldn't help him but an astrologer he turned to told him he was cursed by the spirits of the dogs he killed. The astrologer further told Selvakumar he could avert the curse only if he married and live with a dog. Selvakumar then married the dog in a traditional hindu ceremony which was well attended by family members who also chose the stray dog for the 33years old groom. 

According to the friend of the groom, "the dog is only for lifting the curse, after that he plans to get a real bride".

Hmmm...what superstition in this day and age...wonders shall never end.

Goge Africa Presenter, Nneka Moses finally a mother after 13years

Congratulations to Nneka and her husband Isaac on the birth of their bouncing baby boy. The couple who also presents the TV show Goge Africa seem the happiest at the moment after waiting 13years for this miracle to happen. 

Isaac wrote on his facebook page, "All glory and honour to God. My wife has delivered a beautiful baby boy and just looking at him, I realise he is worth the long wait. So welcome baby Kamara Isaac Moses".

Popular Yoruba actor Yinka Quadri and fuji crooner Alabi Pasuma were on Saturday,18th February honoured with a chieftaincy title in their home town, Oke Ola, Oro, Kwara State. While Yinka got the title of Agbaakin of Oro Land, Pasuma bagged himself the title of Omo Nla of Oro Land.

Osita Iheme popularly known as Pawpaw has initiated a project tagged Osita Iheme Quiz Competion for Secondary Schools, as his own way of giving back to the society who made him famous.  The project which is in form of a quiz competition and already in its 2nd edition is intended to promote, improve and encourage reading among secondary school students. The Project is presently taking place in his community in Imo state, Nigeria and hopes to spread it across the state in future.

The actor who was recently conferred with a National Honour, Member of the Federal Republic (MFR) for his contributions to the nation through his movies expressed satisfaction on the progress and success of the project so far.

Nigerian president Goodluck Ebere Jonathan is presently in London for the conference on Somalia. He also had a meeting with the president of Britain, David Cameron at the conference. In the meeting, Britain Prime Minister David Cameron commended President Jonathan for his efforts in tackling terrorism and promised to support Nigeria in any way possible. President Goodluck thanked the Prime Minister in return for inviting Him to the London summit on Somalia and added that he looks forward to a mutually-beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Maybe it's true love after all...or could it be for the papers...or inheritance? I guess I'll leave that to your imaginations but I no blame the guy sha. Naija too hard.

5-year old boy to become a girl: Right or wrong?

I read this morning about the story of a boy who at the age of three started dressing up as a girl. The boy now five years old lives his life as a girl with the full support of his parents, doctors and even the school. Psychologically, he was diagnosed to have GID (Gender Identity Disorder): a conflict between a person's physical gender and what they identify as. Hence, the boy feels like a girl trapped in a boy's body. 

This is not the first of its kind as the boy happens to be one of many other children affected by GID in the UK who in their heads think they are girls. According to a foundation Trust in London, 165 children received a GID diagnosis in the past year, of which only seven were under the age of five.

Although I'm not an expertise in this field, I feel it is just too soon to allow this boy go through it. He is just only 5years for heaven's sake! Does a 5-year old know what this means for him? Perhaps he has a lot of girls around him and just want to play around trying to dress like them, and not necessarily because he wants to change his gender. I think the parents need to think it through and let the child understand that there is nothing wrong being born a male or a female. The boy needs to be allowed to grow up like a male that he indeed is. Truth is you can never genuinely experience what it really feels like to be a male or a female if you are not born that way. Simple as!

So my question is why encourage him at such a tender age? Why not give him some counselling to make him understand certain things and see if, when he becomes an adult he still feels the same way? I feel they should let him enjoy growing up as a boy because he was born that way and he is too young to understand certain things in life. The worse thing would be for him to have a sex change and regret it when he grows up.

Motivational speaker born without limbs marries a beautiful bride: An inspirational story

Nick Vujicic was born with no arms and legs but he married his beautiful bride, Kanae Miyahara on February 12  in California. The Australian was born in 1982 to pastor Boris and Dushka Vujicic who never allowed his physical impediment to stop him from living a normal life like other kids. Nick himself was determined to be the person God wanted him to be. Despite his disability, he has achieved a whole lot including a double Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Planning from Griffith University in Logan, Australia. He has also made a name for himself traveling around the world as a motivational speaker and runs a non-profit organization LifeWithoutLimbs.org. 

The couple is presently enjoying their honeymoon in Hawaii.
